In the morning, we will visit Holyrood Palace. The home of the King and Queen of England when they are in Scotland. This palace dates back thousands of years. As you wind through the halls, you will see famous portraits of Queens from past and present. 

After we visit Holyrood, you will have time on your own. Talk to your Tour Manager about what you can do for the afternoon. Walk with her up Arthur's Seat on a clear day; you will see Edinburgh from a 360 view. If that's not your cup of tea, try one of the many tea shops on the Royal Mile. Or head over to Parliment for a FREE tour! 

Did you know surgery as we know it started in Edinburgh? Later in the afternoon, we will rejoin the group to head to the Surgeon's Museum.  After  the museum you are on your own to explore the city. 

Let's start the day at the National Museum of Scotland. This will be at your own pace and self-guided. Later in the afternoon, we will begin our education session on whisky and why it is important to Scotland. 

On this full-day tour, we will ride through the countryside of Scotland with a local guide. He will show us the area's natural side along with a castle tour and lunch. 

We at Plan it Travel know there may be other things you want to see. On this last day, you will have the morning and afternoon to do what you want. Your Tour Manager will have some activities planned. If you decide to adventure on your own, we welcome that. The Tour manager will also suggest where to go and what to see. 

In the evening, you will come together for our last guided experience in the "lost" city of Edinburgh. After we will have our final dinner together.
